All ticketing is securely managed online. When you purchase tickets, they will be sent directly to your email as a digital reservation. To reduce congestion in the lobby, please have your digital ticket ready on your phone when you arrive, or print it out at home.

Yes, but only digitally through our website! To ease traffic in the theatre lobby, we do not operate a traditional physical box office at the door. If you need assistance purchasing a ticket over the phone prior to the event, you can call the Mermaid office at (902) 798-5841 (Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM).

Doors to the theatre lobby 60 minutes prior to show time for 19+ events, and 30 minutes prior to showtime for all ages events. We highly recommend arriving early to find your seats, grab some snacks, and settle in before the screening begins.

There is ample free street parking located right along Gerrish Street. Additional public parking can be found just a short walk away on Stannus Street, Gray Street, and King Street.

Yes! Following our recent renovations, the main orchestra level of the theatre is fully wheelchair accessible and features dedicated wheelchair seating positions. We also have brand-new accessible washroom facilities on the main level. Please note that the balcony level is accessible by stairs only.

Yes! We have a large bar featuring a number of local alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. For film screenings, we also have freshly popped popcorn!

Tickets are refundable up to 30 days before the event date. Refund requests made within 30 days of the event are not eligible for a refund, and tickets cannot be exchanged.
If an event is cancelled without a rescheduled date, a full refund will be automatically issued to the original method of payment.
